Internally Hannah has gone through several evolutions, each one wasn't just a self-insert because when we'd look in the mirror we'd actually see this person looking back.

Starting as a skeleton to a scythe wielding mad woman, then to a astral entity searching for self-clarity to a woman stuck in the multiverse dealing with literal personal demons.

I will do my best to map out the artistic history of her identity and how Undertale solidified her identity and helped her to accept herself.
